Adding a Navigatr badge to your CV is a clear way to share your achievements and verified skills with employers. The most professional options use Navigatr's built-in PDF certificate or the Open Badge file (a baked PNG that carries verification metadata). The steps below cover both.
Using the PDF certificate
Every Navigatr badge has a downloadable PDF certificate. It includes the badge image, the issuer, the date earned, and a QR code that links back to the verifiable badge page. This is the strongest single asset to attach to a CV or share alongside an application.
Open Navigatr and log in.
Go to your profile and select the Badges tab.
Click the badge you would like to use.
Open the More options menu and select Certificate.
Download the PDF and attach it to your job application, or insert it as a page in your CV document.
Using the Open Badge file
For external badge wallets, applicant tracking systems, and anyone who wants to verify the badge independently, download the Open Badge file. This is a baked PNG that contains the verification metadata, so anyone viewing your CV can confirm the badge is genuine. Full instructions are in Sending your Navigatr badges to other platforms.
The download dialog provides the badge as a PNG image, which is what most Navigatr badges use. An SVG option appears only for badges that were originally made from an SVG image and imported into Navigatr; badges generated on Navigatr are available as PNG only.
Once you have the PNG, insert it into your CV in the Skills or Achievements section and link it to your public badge page so reviewers can click through to verify it.
Adding the badge to LinkedIn
If your CV links to a LinkedIn profile, adding the badge as a LinkedIn certification gives employers a verified signal in the place they are most likely to check.
Open the badge on Navigatr and click Share.
Select LinkedIn, then choose As Certification.
Follow the LinkedIn prompts to add the badge to your profile.
