Once you've claimed a badge on Navigatr, it comes with a printable, verifiable certificate: no design or admin required. Badges still pending acceptance don't have a certificate until you claim them. You can download and print your certificate anytime, and each one carries a unique QR code that links back to your verified badge on Navigatr.
Follow the steps below to download your certificate:
Log in to navigatr.app.
Click on your profile icon to navigate to your profile page.
Select the Badges tab to view all your earned badges.
Click on the badge you would like to download to open its detailed view.
In the badge details page, click on the More Options icon (three vertical dots).
From the dropdown menu, select 'Certificate' to download a PDF certificate of your badge.
What's on the certificate
Every certificate is generated as a PDF and contains:
The badge image.
The recipient's name.
The issuing provider's logo and brand colours.
The date the badge was issued.
A unique QR code that links back to the verified badge on Navigatr.
The certificate title changes depending on the badge type:
Certificate of Attendance: workshops and attendance-type badges.
Certificate of Membership: membership badges.
Certificate of Achievement: all other badge types.
Only the badge recipient can download the certificate. If you try to download a certificate for a badge you don't own, you'll see a "permission denied" error.
Certificates for imported badges
Certificates also work for badges you've imported into your Navigatr wallet from other platforms. Imported-badge certificates use a default Navigatr style and pull the issuer name from the badge's Open Badge metadata. If an issuer name isn't available, the certificate shows "External Issuer" instead.
The same recipient-only rule applies: only the person who imported the badge can download its certificate.
