How to Share on Navigatr

Navigatr allows you to share various types of content, including your profile, badges, pathways, badge assertions, and pathway assertions. Sharing is straightforward and enables you to showcase your achievements.

  • Badge Assertion: A digital credential indicating a badge has been issued to you, signifying an earned achievement.
  • Pathway Assertion: Represents your progress within a specific pathway, detailing the skills and accomplishments you've gained.

General Sharing Instructions

  1. Log in to Navigatr: Go to navigatr.app and log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to the Content: Go to the section for badges, pathways, badge assertions, pathway assertions, or your profile.
  3. Select the Content to Share: Choose the specific badge, pathway, badge assertion, pathway assertion, or profile you wish to share.
  4. Click the Share Icon: Click the share icon associated with the selected content.
  5. Choose Sharing Options:
    • LinkedIn: Share your badge assertion as a certification. Note that only badge assertions can be shared this way.
    • X (Twitter): Share your achievement directly on Twitter.
    • WhatsApp: Send your badge or content to a contact.
    • Facebook: Share your achievement on Facebook.
    • Telegram: Send your badge via Telegram.
    • QR Code: Display the QR code for easy access to your Navigatr content.
    • More Apps: Allows you to share via other applications installed on your device, such as TikTok or Instagram.
    • Embed: Embed Navigatr content directly into your website.
  6. Add a Message (if applicable): If sharing on LinkedIn or other platforms, you can include a message with your post.
  7. Press Share: After selecting your sharing method and adding any messages, click the share button to publish.

How to Share a Badge You Were Issued

  1. Log in to Your Account: Open Navigatr and log in.
  2. Navigate to Your Badges: Go to the badges tab to view your badges.
  3. Select the Badge: Choose the badge you want to share.
  4. Click the Share Icon: Click the share icon associated with the badge.
  5. Choose LinkedIn from the Share Menu:
    • Post: Share in your LinkedIn feed, allowing interactions.
    • Certification: Link viewers to your digital badge, providing achievement details.
  6. Click Post: After adding a message (if applicable), click Post to publish.

Adding Badges to Your Email Signature

  1. Log in to Your Account: Open Navigatr and log in.
  2. Navigate to Your Profile: Go to your profile and select the badges tab.
  3. Choose the Badge: Select the badge you'd like to include in your email signature.
  4. Expand the Badge Image: Click on the badge image to enlarge it, then right-click to see more options.
  5. Save the Badge Image: Choose ‘Save to Downloads’.
  6. Copy the Badge URL: Right-click on the badge and select ‘Copy Link’.

For Gmail

  1. Go to settings and find the email signature section.
  2. Use the picture icon to upload the badge image and resize it.
  3. Highlight the image and click on the link icon.
  4. Paste the URL of your badge and save the signature.

For Microsoft Outlook

  1. Create a new email and click on the signature option.
  2. Edit an existing signature or add a new one.
  3. Select the image icon and choose the badge image.
  4. Add a hyperlink with the badge URL, then save.

Adding Badges to Your CV

  1. Log in to Your Account: Open Navigatr and log in.
  2. Navigate to Your Profile: Go to your profile and click on the badges tab.
  3. Select the Badge: Click on the badge you’d like to add to your CV.
  4. Enlarge the Badge Image: Click on the badge image to enlarge it.
  5. Save the Badge Image: Right-click and save the image to your device.
  6. Insert the Badge into Your CV: Open your CV document and insert the badge image.
  7. Add a Link to Your Badge:
    • Copy the badge URL from your profile.
    • Right-click on your badge image in the CV and choose ‘Insert Link’, pasting the URL.

Embedding Content

You can embed any Navigatr content, including badges, pathways, and user profiles, directly into your website.

  1. Log in to Your Account: Open Navigatr and log in.
  2. Navigate to the Content: Go to the relevant section (badges, pathways, etc.).
  3. Select the Content to Embed: Choose the specific content you would like to embed.
  4. Click the Share Button: Located at the top left-hand side of the screen.
  5. Choose Embed from the Share Menu: Select the elements of the content you’d like to display.
  6. Copy the Code Snippet: Paste the code into your website or send it to someone who can help with the integration.
  7. Promote Your Embedded Content: Ensure visibility by sharing the embedded content on your website.
