Webhooks let you issue digital badges automatically when someone completes an action in another platform, like submitting a form or finishing a quiz, so badge issuing fits straight into your existing workflows.
You can connect Navigatr to Riddle, Typeform, Zoho Forms, and Tally, so a badge is issued the moment a form, quiz, or survey is completed. This is also commonly called a badge claim form: a simple form collecting a learner’s first name, last name, and email that triggers badge issuance automatically via the webhook.
Create a claim form in one click
The quickest way to set up a claim form is to let Navigatr build it for you. Instead of creating a form and wiring up a webhook yourself, Navigatr generates a ready-made form (built on Tally), connects it to your badge, and sets it as the badge’s earn link automatically. If you’d rather use a form you’ve already built in Riddle, Typeform, Zoho Forms, or Tally, set up the webhook manually using the steps further down.
To create a claim form:
Find the badge you want to issue and click Issue.
Under Other ways, select Create claim form.
Review the summary of what will be created, then confirm.
Navigatr builds and publishes the form and shows you its link. Copy the link and share it with the people who’ve earned the badge.
The form is titled “Earn your badge” and collects the recipient’s first name, last name, and email, along with a consent checkbox. As soon as someone submits it, the badge is issued to them automatically.
Note: A badge must be published before you can create a claim form, and each badge can have one. If a badge’s earn link already points to a claim form, remove it before creating a new one.

Testing your webhook
When you save a webhook in Riddle, Riddle sends a test ping. We recognise Riddle’s test payload and confirm success without issuing a badge. With Typeform, Zoho Forms, and Tally there is no special test handling: a submission without a real first name, last name, and email simply won’t issue a badge.
To confirm the integration is working end-to-end, submit a real form entry (with a real first name, last name, and email) and check that the badge is issued:
Complete a real form submission using the connected platform.
Check Navigatr to confirm that the badge has been issued.
If the badge wasn’t issued, review the form settings to ensure:
The required fields (First name, Last name, Email) are correctly mapped.
The correct Webhook URL is being used.
Publish and share your form
Make your form public by adjusting the sharing settings in Riddle, Typeform, Zoho Forms, or Tally so participants can access and complete it.
Share the form link through email, social media, or by embedding it on your website to make it easily accessible.
Encourage users to complete the form so they automatically receive their badge through the webhook integration.
Final notes
Webhooks offer a fully automated way to issue badges without manual intervention.
Ensure that each form is correctly linked to the intended badge to prevent incorrect badge issuance.
