By linking your library card to your Navigatr account, you can participate in library-specific activities and earn badges related to your library's programs. Follow these steps to add your library card:

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log In to Your Navigatr Account

  • Go to navigatr.app and sign in with your email and password.

Step 2: Access Your Profile Page

  • Click on your profile icon in the navigation menu to open your personal account page.

Step 3: Add Your Library Card

  • Look for a banner: On your profile page, you might see a banner prompting you to enter your library card number. If you see this banner, click on it and follow the instructions to add your library card.

Alternatively:

  • Go to Settings: Click on the 'Settings' icon (usually represented by a gear or cog symbol).
  • Select 'Connected Services': In the settings menu, find and click on 'Connected Services'.
  • Add Library Card: Look for the option to add a library card and click on it.

Step 4: Enter Your Library Card Details

  • Library Card Number: Enter your library card number exactly as it appears on your card.
  • Library Provider: If prompted, select your library provider from the list.

Step 5: Verify Compatibility

  • Important Note: Currently, the library card linking feature is available only for Spydus library card users, such as members of Cambridge library services.
  • If Your Library Uses Spydus: Proceed with linking your card.
  • If Your Library Does Not Use Spydus:
    • Option 1: Contact your library to inquire if they are integrated with Navigatr.
    • Option 2: Reach out to Navigatr support for assistance.

Step 6: Complete the Linking Process

  • Follow any additional on-screen instructions to finalize the linking of your library card.

Tip: If you can't find the option to add your library card, or if you encounter any issues, don't hesitate to contact your library provider or [email protected] for help.
