What’s New?
A Brand New Navigation
Badging just got easier! With our new layout:
- Enjoy finely refined corners and more vertical space to view your content.
- Find Bookmarks and Notifications under the Profile tab. Unread notifications are highlighted with a red dot.
New Administration Interface & Tools
The new Admin tab brings clarity between admin and individual views, bundling tools to help you create, manage, and analyse content.
- A table view to manage and sort content.
- Statistics at a glance, like badge claim rates and activity attendees.
- Easily list associated activities, pathways, and badges.
Switching Spaces
Quickly switch between your communities and/or providers without losing track of your current page. Have more than 8 spaces? Use the search bar to jump between them.
Powerful Search
The search bar in the top-right filters tables by metadata, including hidden data like skills, tags, and descriptions.
- Search for “Python” to find badges or pathways with the skill.
- Filter for “draft” badges only.
- Look for content last updated in “December 2022.”

See an overview of your content’s performance at a glance.
Live Statistics
Administrators now receive weekly email summaries by default, offering insights into engagement trends.
Streamlined Admin Management
Improved tools make it easier for community admins to manage their spaces efficiently.

View Pathway Participants
For the first time, you can track the progress of individuals on your pathways. You can also view badge recipients for Credly badges, provided these users have Navigatr accounts.
Improved Opt-Out Options
Tailor your email preferences directly from the email or in Settings. Users can also unsubscribe from specific notifications.
Badge Rejections
For users issued a badge but not yet joined Navigatr:
- Badges sent to incorrect emails can now be rejected.
- Users with other reasons not to accept a badge can reject it directly.
Changes
- Viewing public community and provider pages now displays published content only. Use the new Admin tab to see drafts or expired content.
- Permissions simplified to the Provider level, addressing unexpected behaviours from the previous logic. Permissions are visible in Provider Settings.
- Published content now appears immediately in Discover, removing the need for a minimum rating.
- Emails & Communications settings moved to a separate page.
- System emails can now be replied to, forwarding directly to our support system.
- Content reaching its end date is automatically marked as expired.
- Updated our list of industries.
- Added a button to preview embeds.
- Added support for certification and software skills.
Fixes
- Fixed issues with displaying more than 100 attendees or badge recipients.
- Resolved problems with pathway job feeds, including showing related jobs when no direct matches exist.
- Improved Discover performance.
- Various fixes for the sharing dialog.
