What’s New?

Easier to Get Started

It’s now easier and quicker to get started with a Navigatr account. Register for a trial and start creating your first badge within minutes using the improved Badge Assistant.

Get Inspiring Suggestions

Badge Assistant now shows prompt suggestions to help you create your badge. These suggestions are based on the information providers add during the sign-up process or in their settings.

Introducing Referrals

Providers and Communities can now invite new organisations to join Navigatr using a referral code. Find your unique code in the Subscription Admin tab and grow your community.

New! Subscriptions

  • Maximise Plan Limits: New customers and free trial users can now see and utilise their plan limits, update billing info, and use referral codes.
  • Communities: Update providers’ funding statuses, indicate funded providers, and allow organisations to manage subscriptions and billing.
  • Invoicing: Any pricing changes will trigger an invoice sent directly to your organisation. (Online payment options coming soon!)

Gradual Rollout: These updates will be gradually introduced to existing customers.

Get Verified

We’re introducing a free service to verify organisations on Navigatr. This service ensures that everyone is who they say they are and prevents impersonation of valuable brands.

How to Get Verified:

  1. Go to Settings in your admin space and enter your details.
  2. Navigatr will verify your organisation.
  3. Once verified, your profile will display a check mark, boosting your credibility and trustworthiness.

(This feature applies to accounts with subscriptions tied to a provider.)

Feature Updates for All Organisations and Providers

Now Counting Unique Individuals

Your Statistics and weekly email summaries now include metrics showing how many unique individuals you’ve engaged with. This provides clearer insights into your audience’s reach.

More Analytics for Providers

  • The Overview tab now shows unique individuals for each piece of content.

  • Communities can see a breakdown of content by provider in the Providers tab.

Updated Naming Conventions:

  • Badge Recipients → Badges Issued.
  • Activity Attendees → Activities Attended.
  • Pathway Participants → Pathways Started.

Improved Claim Experience

Individuals claiming their badge will now see a burst of confetti, along with links to share their badge. Enhanced logic ensures smoother badge claims, even if the user is logged into a different account.

Changes

  • Draft badges can now be used when setting up activities and pathways. (Badges must be published before publishing the activity or pathway.)
  • View admin profiles conveniently from the Admins sidebar tab.
  • Duplicating content now prompts you to choose the destination—useful for managing multiple providers.
  • Added notifications for subscription-related alerts, including expiry warnings and referral code usage.
  • Improved login and registration experiences, including a new choice between Individual or Provider when signing up.

  • Community admins can now better set up new providers.
  • Updated the Supply of Services Agreement acceptance prompt for managing new accounts.

Fixes

  • Resolved duplicate listing of badges for pathway steps.
  • Fixed graphs in Analytics shrinking endlessly under certain screen conditions.
  • Addressed harmless errors caused by navigating pages too quickly.
  • Enforced the requirement for at least one criterion and a tag before publishing a badge.
  • Improved how locations are calculated on the map.
  • Fixed errors with non-published content appearing in embeds.
  • Enhanced accessibility for users with reduced animation preferences.
  • Cleaned up notifications for inaccessible content.

Earlier Fixes in 2024

  • Fixed an issue where “View in Admin” didn’t work with animations disabled.
  • Added the option to share via QR Code.
  • Improved login prompts for returning users accessing protected pages.
