Sharing a Navigatr badge on LinkedIn is a clear way to showcase your achievements with employers, colleagues, and your wider network. You can share a badge in two ways from the Navigatr Share screen: as a feed post or as a profile certification. A feed post is visible to your network in their LinkedIn feed and supports likes and comments, while a certification lives permanently on your profile under Licenses & certifications so employers can see your verified skills at any time.
Sharing as a LinkedIn feed post
A feed post shares your badge as a regular LinkedIn post that appears in your network's feed, where people can react and comment. Follow these steps to share your badge as a feed post.
Open Navigatr and log in to view your profile.
Go to the badges tab to view your badges.
Choose the badge you want to share.
Click the share icon associated with the badge.
Select LinkedIn from the share menu.
Choose the option to share in your LinkedIn feed, which allows your network to react and comment on the post.
Add a message if you want to provide context, then click Post to publish.
Adding as a LinkedIn certification
A certification adds your badge to the Licenses & certifications section of your LinkedIn profile, where it lives permanently and links back to your verified Navigatr badge. Follow these steps to add your badge as a certification.
Open Navigatr and log in to view your profile.
Go to the badges tab to view your badges.
Choose the badge you want to share.
Click the share icon associated with the badge, then select LinkedIn from the share menu.
Select the option to share the badge as a certification. This links viewers to your digital badge and includes the full achievement details.
If you are not already logged in to LinkedIn, log in to your account.
Check that the certification details are correct. The organisation details will be pre-filled. If the organisation is not linked to its LinkedIn profile, select the correct one from the dropdown menu.
When you are ready, click Post to publish the certification to your LinkedIn profile.
Tips:
For best results, the badge issuer should link their LinkedIn Organisation ID in their provider settings. That way, LinkedIn associates your certification with their official LinkedIn page rather than just showing a name.
