Earned a badge? Badges are digital credentials that verify your skills, achievements, or participation. They provide trusted recognition that you can share to highlight what you’ve accomplished.
If you already have a Navigatr account, we automatically add new badges to your profile. If you don’t have a Navigatr account, you’ll need to set one up to claim your badge.
When you earn a badge, we’ll notify you by email with instructions on how to view or claim it. The process varies slightly depending on whether you already have a Navigatr account.
For new Navigatr users
Look for an email from Navigatr with the subject indicating you have received a badge
Click the link in the email to go to the Navigatr website and set up a new account
Follow the on-screen instructions to register using the email address where you received the badge notification
Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to confirm your account
Log in to Navigatr and click the ‘Badges’ tab in your profile to view your badge
For existing Navigatr users
Look for an email from Navigatr informing you that you’ve been awarded a new badge
Open the email and click on the link provided to view your badge
Alternatively, log in to your Navigatr account and go to your ‘Badges’ tab in your profile to see your new badge
Bringing in a badge from another platform
If you’ve earned a digital badge on Credly, Accredible, Moodle, Canvas Badges, or another platform that issues Open Badges, you can import it into your Navigatr wallet so all your achievements live in one place.
See Open Badges Explained: Downloading, Importing, and Sharing on Navigatr for the full guide.
What’s next?
Now that you have your badge, here are a few things you can do with it:
Share it: Add your badge to your LinkedIn profile, include it in your email signature, or embed it on your website to showcase your achievements. See our guide: How to Share Your Navigatr Badges and Pathways.
Download a certificate: Get a printable certificate with a unique QR code that links back to your verified badge. See our guide: Downloading Your Badge Certificate.
Don’t want a badge?
If you didn’t want to receive this badge, or it was sent in error, you have two options depending on whether you’ve already claimed it:
Reject: If the badge is still Pending (you haven’t claimed it yet), use the rejection link in the issue email. You don’t need a Navigatr account, and the badge is permanently disposed of. The provider is notified that you rejected it.
Remove: If the badge is already in your profile, open its actions menu and select Remove Badge. This is permanent. To get the badge back, you’ll need to ask the provider to reissue it.
