How to Bulk Issue Badges via CSV

Bulk issuing badges on Navigatr allows you to award badges to multiple recipients simultaneously. Follow these steps to issue badges in bulk using a CSV file.


Steps to Bulk Issue Badges

  1. Log in to Your Navigatr Account
    • Go to the Admin Dashboard and navigate to Content > Badges.
    • Select the badge you want to issue.
    • If you haven’t created and published your badge yet, search for the article How to Create a Badge.
  2. Select Bulk Issue via CSV
    • Click Issue and choose the Via CSV File option.
  3. Prepare Your CSV File
    • Download the pre-formatted CSV template provided on the Bulk Issuing page for best results.
    • Your CSV file must include the following columns:
      • First Name: The recipient’s first name.
      • Last Name: The recipient’s last name.
      • Email Address: The recipient’s email address.
    • Save the file in .csv format and ensure all recipient details are accurate.
  4. Upload Your CSV File
    • Click Browse to upload your prepared CSV file.
    • Review the uploaded data to ensure all recipient details are correct.
  5. Confirm and Issue
    • Once the data is reviewed, click Confirm and Issue.
    • You will receive an email notification when your bulk issuing process is complete.
  6. Check Badge Claims
    • After issuing the badges, go to the Recipients tab of the badge to track who has claimed their badge.

Important Notes

  • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to contact recipients in line with Navigatr’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  • Inform recipients they will receive an email with instructions to claim their badge and remind them to check their spam folder if they don’t see it.
