If you administer more than one organisation, Navigatr treats each community, provider, and the Navigatr platform itself as a separate space. You can switch between them at any time from the admin dashboard, and the same menu items reappear in each space rescoped to that organisation.
What is a space?
A space is one administrative context: a community, a provider, or the Navigatr platform. When you open the admin dashboard, you are always inside one space at a time. The space you are in determines what content, members, and settings the dashboard shows.
Most admin pages look the same from one space to the next. Switching spaces rescopes the page you are on to the new organisation rather than changing which page you are looking at.
Switching between spaces
Open the admin dashboard from the left navigation rail.
At the top of the admin sidebar, click the entity selector. This is the panel showing the current organisation’s logo, name, and a dropdown arrow.
Pick a community, provider, or the Navigatr platform from the list. If you have access to many organisations, use the search field above the list to filter by name.
The dashboard reloads inside the space you selected. The page you were on stays the same where possible (for example, Statistics in one provider takes you to Statistics in the next), so you can compare the same view across organisations quickly.
What stays the same in every space
Every community and provider space has the same set of menu items in the admin sidebar:
Summary: A snapshot of the organisation’s recent activity, members, and content.
Badges, Activities, Pathways: The content belonging to this organisation.
Analytics and Statistics: Insights scoped to this organisation only.
Admins and Members: The people who can manage or belong to this organisation.
Subscription and Settings: Plan details and configuration for this organisation.
Community spaces also include an AutoBadges page under Automation, and a Providers page that lists every provider belonging to that community.
What changes when you switch
Your account, login session, and notifications carry across every space. The things that change with the space are:
The content lists (badges, activities, pathways) shown in the dashboard.
The members and admins shown under Manage.
The analytics, statistics, and counts in the sidebar.
The subscription and settings, which are configured per organisation.
