The Job Feed is a premium feature that connects learning directly to employment by displaying live job opportunities related to your learning pathway. By aligning badges and activities with in-demand skills, you can show learners real career opportunities they can work toward, making pathways more motivating, purposeful, and impactful.
This feature is especially powerful for careers-focused organisations, education providers, and community programmes helping learners into work or training.
What Is the Job Feed?
When enabled, the Job Feed appears at the bottom of a learning pathway and automatically shows live vacancies based on the content of that pathway — specifically the badges and skills it contains.

Each job listing includes the following key information:
Job title and employer
Salary (if available)
Type of employment (full-time, part-time or any), type of opportunity (job, apprenticeship, internship or voluntary) and level (starter, entry, mid, senior or lead)
Location (if available)
Job industry (only visible for admins)
It works dynamically, updating frequently to ensure learners always see the most current opportunities.
How Does It Work?
The Job Feed uses a built-in integration with labour market data from Lightcast, combined with your pathway’s metadata.
Here’s how the connection is made:
Pathway Tags and Badges: When creating or editing a pathway, you can tag it with relevant skills and industries. These tags are matched against live job market data.
Live Vacancy Matching: The feed scans Lightcast's real-time data for roles that match the tags and skills listed in your pathway content. The more precise your tagging, the more relevant the job feed will be.
Automatic Updates: The feed is refreshed automatically to keep listings up to date. No manual curation is needed.
Tailored to the User: The feed automatically tailors itself to a user's location and preferences, showing them relevant opportunities.
How to Use the Job Feed
The Job Feed is a premium add-on. If it’s not already available on your account, contact Navigatr Support to request activation.
Once enabled:
Edit your pathway.
Add skill tags and industries that reflect the badges and activities learners complete.
(Optional) Set an address for the pathway.
Enable the Job Feed toggle.
(Optional) Select the job levels you want to show, or select "All Levels" to show all opportunities.
(Optional) Add additional filters to refine the search; you can filter by job title, company name, or keywords
Save your pathway.
The feed will begin displaying jobs automatically beneath the pathway overview.
Tip - If the job feed is displaying too few opportunities, your filters may be too strict. Preview your pathway often to see how your filters are affecting the results.
Best Practices
Use consistent, specific skill tags (e.g. “Customer Service”, “Construction Safety”) across badges and activities.
Set an address if your learners are job-seeking in a particular area.
Use the feed as part of learner review meetings or career planning sessions.
